These Michigan Magnets are 100% glass. A finely ground glass powder is used to manipulate the shape of Michigan. Each sheet of glass is hand selected for color to achieve the final product. The glass is hand cut and layered then placed in a kiln and fired for about 24 hours. Depending on the end product, it can go into the kiln up to 5 times to reach the final outcome. Each Michigan Magnet is unique and no two are exactly alike.
