These lovely Petoskey Stone Teardrop Earrings are cut and shaped into a teardrop that measures approximately 3/4″ long. The earring bails and ear wires are sterling silver.
The artisan collects these Petoskey stones then cuts, shapes, polishes and sets them into each beautiful piece.
Petoskey Stones were formed by the fossilization of an ancient coral, Hexagonaria and only found in Michigan’s lower peninsula. Petoskey Stone is the official Michigan state stone.
