These lovely Petoskey Stone Dangle Earrings are cut into an elongated shape that measures approximately 1 1/2″ long. The earring bails and ear wires are sterling silver. The stones are collected along the shores of northern Lake Michigan. The artisan then cuts, shapes, polishes and sets them into each beautiful piece.
Petoskey stones are Michigan’s state stone and are over 350 million years old. Believed to be a positive energy stone, they are not a natural stone but rather a fossilized coral only found in the northern portions of Michigan’s lower peninsula.
