About Petoskey Stone Earrings by Shoreline Gems
These Petoskey Stone Earrings feature stunning specimens cut and shaped into 16 x 12 mm ovals. The earwires and findings are sterling silver. The earring bails are glued to the stones with jewelers epoxy.
Collected along the shores of northern Lake Michigan, the Petoskey Stone is Michigan’s state stone and over 350 million years old. Believed to be a positive energy stone, it is not a natural stone but rather a fossilized coral only found in the northern portions of Michigan’s lower peninsula.
