These hand carved coins are inspired by 1600's trench art! Real coins are hand carved into jewelry and accessories for any gender or age! Each coin is carved carefully by hand so no two will be exactly the same. An old-world art that connects people to the past. Coin carving in the U.S. dates back to the 1600’s when soldiers would hand carve coins for their loved ones during the Civil War, they called them “Love Tokens”. Specializing in Michigan designs, Carved Coins carry on this tradition by using the same tools and techniques from the 1600's and mixing them with modern media.
