The bow knife is a handcrafted bread saw utilizing an extra thin super sharp Sheffield stainless blade to slice bread and vegetables. The Sheffield made extremely sharp scalloped blade is about 4X thinner than a normal bread knife serrated blade and protected with a unique handmade magnetic blade guard. It slices soft and fresh breads with hardly any pressure and will cut hard crusty bread like a sourdough easier than you could imagine! The knives effortlessly cut through all types of bread, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, and cooked/dried meats.
The knives are meticulously handcrafted in a variety of hardwoods including black walnut, cherry, maple and ash. Epoxy resin in different colors is used creatively for a unique look or order a solid hardwood. Each knife is hand sanded, finished with a premium food safe hard wax/oil, then polished with beeswax for a beautiful durable finish.
With a large cutting length of 9″, the fiddle shaped bow knife measures 16″ x 3″. All knives come with an attached leather hanging cord and a matching hardwood magnetic blade cover. The hidden strong N52 magnets within the wood guard provide safe and secure protection for your hands and fingers.

NOTE: This product is made to order and will require 1 – 2 weeks of production prior to shipping. Wood is a natural and unique material and every hand-crafted piece will be slightly different. The product you receive will be the same shape and size, but the natural grain and epoxy resin differences may occur between the picture on the listing and the product you receive.
Free replacement blade if your knife blade ever rusts, dulls, or breaks.
