About the Petoskey Stone and Copper Bracelet by Riverstone Gallery
Each mixed fossil beaded Petoskey Stone and Copper Bracelet is handcrafted and unique. Adorned with the state Petoskey Stone and copper beads, these natural beautiful Michigan fossil coral bracelets have copper spacer beads and a lobster claw clasp. Each bracelet is hand-strung on multi-strand wire so they will not stretch. It is recommended to add 1/4″ to your wrist measurement to allow for comfort. Each beautiful stone is unique so your bracelet will be one of a kind. The bead count will vary due to the different sizes.
This bracelet pairs well with the matching earrings and this necklace.
Petoskey Stones are fossil corals that lived in a shallow sea covering the Great Lakes area about 350 million years ago. When the corals died, some of them were buried and fossilized. Today their fossils are found near the city of Petoskey, Michigan – which is where they get their name. The Petoskey Stone became the official state stone of Michigan in 1965.
