About Solid Copper Mushroom Rain Gauge by Browersmith Copperworks
Each Solid Copper Mushroom Rain Gauge is hand forged from solid copper with a 5″ glass vile in 3/4″ diameter graduated in both metric and English. The mushroom stands approximately 7″ above the ground and 6″ of the remaining stem is to be buried for support. The diameter of the mushroom cap is 5 1/2” with a stem diameter of 5/8”. Like a fingerprint, each one is unique and naturally one of a kind. The perfect gift for the gardener who “has it all”. The Mushroom Rain Gauge is unique yet beautiful and functional.
An original Browersmith Copperworks design, each hand sculpted Mushroom Rain Gauge is cut and hand forged to it’s shape. They are then cleaned showing their own color variations and nuances. A finish is not applied so the patina will gradually age to a gorgeous natural copper-brown with hints of reds and green over the years.
