About Heirloom Shower Oil by Tom & Herb Skincare Garden
Heirloom Shower Oil is infused with active amounts of Lycopene to make aged or UV stressed skin look more youthful and regenerated. Blend of natural herbs and essential oils, this shower oil calms redness and irritation, promotes firmness and elasticity, refines tone and texture, fights free radicals and soothes all the dry itchy things that nature brings.
Lycopene acts as a natural anti-aging agent against the obvious signs of skin aging, i.e., wrinkles, laxity, dermal thickening, and dull complexion, by protecting and promoting the production of collagen and elastin, two of the most important proteins found in the skin’s extracellular matrix.
Lycopene is a plant nutrient with antioxidant properties linked to health benefits ranging from heart health to protection against sunburns and certain types of cancers.
As a natural antioxidant, lycopene can alleviate oxidative stress and decrease inflammation and is known to prevent chronic vascular diseases.

OUR MISSION IS TO SUPPORT LOCAL FARMERS, PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY AND AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION.
Co-founder Tresha Heath met Co-founder Alexandra Dahl while working consulting on a bio tech skin care start up project.
Heath was brought to advise and scale the project and Dahl was the lab and skin care production manager of the project.
Dahl and Heath realized when working together things just flowed. We had a lot of common interests and a similar idea of how we wanted to live our futures.
When the bio tech start up project came to a close. Heath and Dahl had a desire to continue working together, but this time as owners of their own personal care product line.
Dahl and Heath share a passion for gardening and agriculture as well as the science of natural skin care and personal care products. Both had a desire to simplify the process and production of personal care products, making them earth friendly, human friendly, and sustainable.
We felt that skincare products are becoming overly thought and overly processed, and wanted to get back to the roots of skincare, literally, by utilizing garden grown minimally processed ingredients. The earth gives us all that we need to nourish, protect and heal our skin.
And that is how our “Skincare Garden” was born.
Dahl has extensive experience and knowledge in Agriculture.
Dahl graduated MSU with a degree in Agribusiness Management and has developed strong ties to the Michigan agricultural industry. Dahl is currently enrolled at Rutgers for her Masters of Business & Science with a concentration in Global Agriculture.
Dahl is a board member for Oakland County Farm Bureau as well as Young Farmer co-chair.
Heath worked as a freelance MUA for over 20 years and has extensive experience working with other personal care products. Her work as a MUA appeared on the runways at fashion week and on multiple covers of magazines, such as Vogue, Marie Claire and more.
Heath has brought multiple personal care and cosmetic products to market as both an owner and consultant. Heath guest lectures for the University of Toledo in their Cosmetic Science and Formulation degree program to empower tomorrow’s cosmetic scientists and still holds residence as a MUA at Beach House Day Spa in Birmingham, MI.
As a makeup artist Heath always knew that good skin was the base of excellent makeup!

Heath and Dahl are a perfect duo. Dahl knows how to grow and Heath formulates. Together they created the vision for Tom & Herb.
