Savor the unique taste of Northern Michigan Dried Tart Cherries. These are the most familiar morsels usually found offered as snacks, in salads or in baked goods. They are slightly infused with a sugar solution to enhance the natural sweetness and preserve their chewy texture. 8 oz resealable bag.
Dried red tart cherries are prepared in accordance with good manufacturing practices by infusing whole red tart pitted cherries in a sugar solution and subsequently drying the infused cherry to a specific moisture content. Sunflower oil is topically applied. The dried fruit is quality analyzed and visually inspected before packaging. Store in a cool dry location. Preferably store between 40 – 50 degrees. An occasional pit may be present. All of the Dried Tart Cherries are Kosher certified.
