About Pure Copper Bird Feeder by Browersmith Copperworks
This handmade copper bird feeder is 10″ tall overall with an additional 5.5″ solid copper hook that is included. It is naturally resistant to bacteria and viruses which makes it extremely friendly to our hungry woodland friends.
The bottom dish is 9″ in diameter and 2″ deep with small holes to allow rain water to drain in case it blows in. This bird feeder holds approximately 1.5 lbs of oiled sunflower seed (6 cups). The top is larger than the bottom to shed the elements and measures 10″.
An original Browersmith Copperworks design, each hand sculpted feeder is cut and hand forged to it’s shape. They are then cleaned showing their own color variations and nuances. A finish is not applied so the patina will gradually age to a gorgeous natural golden bronze with hints of reds and green over the years. No production tools are used to create these pieces and each one is individually handmade.

This was the perfect 7th anniversary gift for my husband. We just purchased our first (and forever) home together and we love to watch all the local birds feed out of our many feeders. This one has been placed in a Japanese maple right outside the room we hang out in the most and it’s lovely. I can’t wait to watch the patina form on this as it is exposed to the elements. So well made, absolutely beautiful craftsmanship. Can’t wait to expand our collection with more yard art.

What a treasure: this handmade bird feeder is so beautiful and of course functional, as well–the birds thank you! The large upper dome shelters the lower perforated tray and the sturdy copper hook is just right.
