About the Petoskey Stone and Leland Blue Tube Bracelet by Shoreline Gems
Each Petoskey Stone and Leland Blue Tube Bracelet features two lovely 10mm stones set in a sterling silver tube bracelet. The 4mm flexible cuff bracelet accommodates most wrist sizes. Each bracelet is plated with rhodium to ensure a durable, tarnish-resistant finish.
Due to the natural variations in the fossilized coral structure of a Petoskey stone and a Leland Blue stone, no two are exactly alike, meaning each stone has a unique pattern and appearance making each bracelet distinct from one another.
Collected along the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, the artisan cuts, shapes, and polishes each stone before setting it into the beautiful piece.
Petoskey Stones are not a natural stone but rather a fossilized coral only found in the northern portions of Michigan’s lower peninsula. They are over 350 million years old.
Leland Blue is not a natural stone but rather a byproduct of smelting iron ore in the northern portions of Michigan’s lower peninsula during the late 1800s.
